Payment Policy
Accepted payment methods, deadlines and security.
This policy sets out the accepted payment methods, the deposit and balance schedule, and how we protect your payment information.
1. Accepted payment methods
- International bank transfer (SWIFT/IBAN).
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) via secure online payment links.
- Mobile money — M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money (Tanzania).
- Cash payment on arrival for incidental services, where pre-agreed.
2. Deposit requirements
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the tour cost is required to confirm any booking.
3. Final payment deadlines
The remaining balance is due no later than 45 days before arrival. Bookings made within 45 days of arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking.
4. Currency and exchange rate policy
Prices are contracted in US Dollars (USD). EUR and TZS amounts shown on the website are indicative and are converted at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of payment. Any difference caused by exchange-rate movement between quotation and payment is borne by the payer.
5. Payment security
All online payments are processed over encrypted (HTTPS) connections by PCI-DSS compliant payment providers. We never store full card details on our systems.
6. Late payment and outstanding balances
If the balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and apply the cancellation fees set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Any outstanding balance accrued in-country must be settled before departure.
