Why Nyerere National Park
Carved out of the former Selous Game Reserve in 2019, Nyerere National Park is the largest in Africa at 30,893 km² — a watery wilderness of channels, sandbanks and miombo woodland.
It is one of the few Tanzanian parks where you can combine 4x4 game drives with boat safaris on the Rufiji River and walking safaris with armed rangers.
